On the 1st September we had 11 KRIV volunteers who were very ably assisted by 5 from the Adelphi Group plus a strange character dressed in waders carrying a fire extinguisher………

Water Street Centre Open Day
WE are having an Open Day at the Water Street Centre. Please come and join us and see the the new refurbishment of the building.
MORE WORK IN TINKERS CLOUGH STARTING ON WEDNESDAY 7th June: PLEASE TAKE CARE
Bartlett tree surgeons will be doing some further important work in Tinkers Clough starting on Wednesday 7th June. We hope to keep the Clough open to the public whilst this work is done but please follow the signage and any directions the tree surgeons give. The work could take up to a week to complete, dependent on weather conditions.
Without this work being carried out, we would need to consider closing the Clough to public access.

AN UPDATE ON THE WORK ON THE ROOF AT THE WATER STREET CENTRE
The project started on time with the initial set of scaffolding being erected during week commencing 27th June. Further scaffolding will go up after Bollington-Pre-School has broken up for their summer holidays.

Meditation in Tinkers Clough on the Summer Solstice
A meditation group took the opportunity to celebrate the summer solstice in Tinker Clough last week. Tinker Clough is a lovely green woodland space hidden away between the Macclesfield Canal and the Middlewood Way.

Peak District Boundary Marker Unveiled
We are pleased to announce that the Peak District Boundary Marker was officially unveiled on Monday 9th May at which Cllr Andrew Gregory of Cheshire East Council and the Peak District National Park Authority board. The event was well attended and BIT are proud to have been part of this initiative.
